What is Vermouth?

Vermouth or vermut is a fortified wine, flavoured with aromatic plants and herbs. Vermouth is often consumed as an aperitif and digestif, but is also often used in various cocktails.

How much alcohol is in Vermouth?

The alcohol percentage of vermouth is usually around 15%, but there are cheaper variants on the market with lower alcohol percentages.
