A William's favorite cocktail contains the following ingredients:
Place all liquid ingredients, except the sparkling wine, together with a few ice cubes in the shaker. Shake vigorously and then pour the mix through a bar strainer into a pre-chilled cocktail glass. Add ice-cold dry sparkling wine to taste. Then serve immediately.
