A French 75 cocktail contains the following ingredients:
Place the ice in a cocktail shaker and pour over the cognac, sugar syrup and lemon juice. Shake vigorously until a layer of condensation forms. Strain the drink into a chilled highball glass and top it up with champagne. Garnish with the lemon zest.
