What is Tequila?
Tequila is a Mexican alcoholic drink made from the Agave tequilana, a specific Mexican agave species.
Tequila must consist of at least 51% agave juice, the rest is usually sugar cane.
Tequila can be drunk straight, but can also be mixed with other ingredients, such as whiskey.
Another popular way to drink tequila is to first lick salt from your hand, then drink a shot of tequila, and finally bite into a piece of lemon.
How much alcohol is in Tequila?
Tequila contains between 35 and 60 percent alcohol.
