What is Licor 43?
Licor 43 (also known as Cuarenta Y Tres or Licor Cuarenta Y Tres) is a sweet Spanish liqueur with a strong vanilla flavour.
It originates from a drink that was made thousands of years ago near Cartagena, called Liquor Mirabilis.
What is in Licor 43?
Licor 43 owes its name to the 43 ingredients that the liqueur contains.
These ingredients, which are all natural, include citrus and other fruit juices, and extracts of aromatic plants.
The liqueur can be drunk neat (with or without ice) and in or with coffee/tea. In addition, many mixes are known, for example with fruit juices such as orange juice, cola or with milk.
Licor 43 can also be used in various cocktails.
How much alcohol does Licor 43 contain?
Licor 43 has an alcohol percentage of 31% and is available in bottles of 350 ml, 700 ml and 1 liter as well as a miniature bottle of 50 milliliters.
