Kahlua
What is Kahlúa?
Kahlúa is the brand name of an alcoholic beverage. Kahlúa is made by the international manufacturer Pernod Ricard. The taste of Kahlúa contains hints of rum, vanilla and caramel. Kahlúa can be drunk neat or with ice, and is also often used as an ingredient for cocktails (for example B-52, White Russian and Black Russian), with coffee, or in desserts.
How much alcohol does Kahlúa contain?
In the Netherlands, Kahlúa contains 20% vol. alcohol. Nowadays, there are also variants: Kahlúa Especial, 35% vol. alcohol; Kahlúa Mocha; Kahlúa French Vanilla; Kahlúa Hazelnut, all three with 20% vol. alcohol.
