What is Goldstrike?
Goldstrike (Gold Strike) is a Dutch gold-containing cinnamon liqueur.
The best-known combinations with Goldstrike are Gold Digger (with vodka), Fort Knox (with tonic), Black Gold (with cola), Bio Black Gold (with bio cola), Royal Energy (with energy drink), Stuiterbal (with Blue Curacao) and Fireball (with Fanta).
How to drink Goldstrike
Goldstrike is often consumed in a very characteristic way: The well-chilled drink is poured into shot glasses, the "participants" exhale and after throwing back the glass in one go, the index and middle fingers are pressed firmly vertically on the lips. Then inhale thoroughly through the small opening. This method originated as a drinking game because sooner or later it is no longer possible to inhale completely and therefore someone can always be designated as the snorting loser. Goldstrike is also often set on fire and then drunk through a straw.
