Sinterklaas cocktail
10 piece - Peppernuts
1 bit - Egg white
10 ml. - Cointreau
30 ml. - Lemon juice
25 ml. - Speculoos syrup
40 ml. - Vodka
2 dash - Grapefruit juice
Preparation:
Fill a shaker with the above ingredients and dry shake vigorously.Then fill your shaker with ice and shake vigorously again.
Then fill your tumbler with ice cubes and fine strain the contents into the glass.
Finish the cocktail with an orange zest.
The gingerbread nuts and gingerbread syrup come to the fore but are well balanced by the vodka and the fruity notes of Cointreau, lemon juice and grapefruit bitters.
