Electric drink mixer

The electric drink mixer is a standing, elongated device with a kind of round rod with a wheel attached to it. By pressing the mixing cup, which belongs to the device, against a catch attached to the mixer, the rod starts to rotate at high speed. This causes the cocktail to be cooled by the rotating ice cubes. The disadvantage of the electric drink mixer is that you cannot put too many ice cubes in the mixing cup, because the rod will then block and the mixer will stop. The electric drink mixer is usually used for making milkshakes. You will therefore not find many behind the better cocktail bar. Still, if used properly, the device can be an excellent bar aid, especially in busy bars.
