What is Havana Club?

Havana Club is a brand of Cuban rum made in Santa Cruz del Norte, Cuba. Havana Club has been owned by the Cuban government since the days of the Cuban Revolution. In addition, the Bacardi company also sells Havana Club in the United States. They had purchased the rights to the name and recipe from the Arechabala family, who were the original owners of Havana Club before the company was nationalized.
