The Cocktail Bible contains over 4,000 cocktail and mixed drink recipes divided into 37 sections of main spirits and liqueur based cocktails such as brandy, gin, rum etc. There is also sections for non-alcoholic drinks, hot drinks, punches, shooters and aperitifs. Each recipe that contains alcohol has the percentage of alcohol in a standard drink calculated. The introduction provides readers with all the helpful tips on creating cocktails and mixed drinks as well as information on the history and origin of many of the drinks eg. highballs, collins, gimlet and many others.
